Douglas Anderson School of the Arts has a variety of opportunities for students who are looking to enhance not only their education – but also their talents. This high school is for children who are able to work on their own without much help from the teachers or their parents. This does not mean that they will not receive any help from the school faculty – but that they should be able to handle most things on their own.
Suncoast Community High School is located in Riviera Beach, Florida.The school has been open since 1955 though it was named Riviera Beach High School. In 1970 it was renamed and in 1989 it became a public magnet high school. All of the students belong to one or both of the four magnet programs that the school offers; Math, Science & Engineering (MSE), International Baccalaureate (IB), Computer Science (CS), and Interdisciplinary Program (IDP).
The School for the Talented & Gifted – which is also known as TAG – is a well known college prep school that can be found in Dallas, TX. The high school is connected to the Dallas Independent School District. Some of the more popular programs that they offer are liberal arts, and the Advanced Placement Program. This school has been rated #1 in all of the United States by Newsweek magazine in both 2006 and 2007.
